DAVOST GASTRONOMY

The rediscovery of local culinary traditions

Dav òst gastronomy was born from the passion for the rediscovery of local culinary traditions. Ours are: smoked meats, wild herbs in oil, wild flower and berry syrups and various types of frico.

The smoked products are enhanced by the particular marinations based on spontaneous herbs. Venison speck, lamb speck and smoked beef are our top-of-the-range products, obtained from traditional processing according to ancient procedures. Dandelion, Alpine Cicerbita (spontaneous

radicchio from the high mountains), wild asparagus, Jerusalem artichokes and more are our best selection of herbs in oil. Symbol of Friulian cuisine: frico with

its variants with aromatic herbs, mushrooms, speck, apples and walnuts, with chives. You can eat it in our restaurant or buy it vacuum-packed to consume it with your family at home.The elderflower syrup with which we

flavor our aperitifs and some desserts is another product of the mountain tradition of the Dolomites that we offer in our gastronomy.
